"You have got to be kidding me!" exclaimed Casey Novak, who was currently in a heated conversation with Olivia Benson.
"How did the guys "mess up" waiting for the warrant? Its not a hard concept really; you give me the probable cause, I get the warrant, and then you guys search. In that order!"

'It's not our fault Alex if we left him with the evidence in that home he would have destroyed it in a second. Casey what are you not getting?!" Olivia said as she started to raise her voice.

Casey groaned out of sheer frusteration. "This isn't me not getting it Olivia. This is me telling you that what you guys just did is illegal in the eyes of the law, and now we're going to have a hard time explaining to Petrovsky, especially since she's the one that signed the 'stupid piece of bark', as you so quaintly put it, in the first place!" Casey finished, out of breath.
Olivia, who was still fuming, almost failed to register that Casey had said "we're" in her tirade.
"Whoa, rewind and freeze Casey, did you just say 'we'?"
Casey rolled her eyes at the detective, but took on a slightly softer tone.
"Yes, Detective, we. Your name is the one on the warrant as the searching officer, remember? Petrovsky wants us both there. She's going to yell your head off as much as mine. Two for one special." Casey started removing the debris from her chair as she motioned for Olivia to sit down. Suddenly, her brows furrowed.
"Did you just call me Alex?!"

"Hehe, I guess your missing Alex a little too much Liv." said Elliot. "So am I in trouble this time? I always seem to be in trouble."

Casey turned to see that Elliot Stabler had arrived and was standing smuggly in her doorway. That, and the fact that he was leaning against her best pantsuit that she had hung there, did nothing to help her souring mood.
"No, Detective," Casey snapped, pushing him away from her clothes and smoothing them out, "you, unfortunately, are not in trouble. Olivia and I have the sole pleasure of dealing with Petrovsky at 7 AM tomorrow morning." Casey turned sharply to cut off the protest she knew was coming from Olivia. "And not a minute late, you understand me? Or I will personally come find you and embarrass you. And you," she continued, whirring around to face a snickering Elliot, "now have the sole pleasure of running my errands, since I won't be getting to them tonight. Have fun!"
Both Casey and Olivia smirked at the slightly less than happy look pasted on Elliot's face.

"What the crap!" said Elliot with a surprised look on his face, "I'm a Detective not a servant. But I'll do you errands, just to stay out of trouble," and with that Elliot walked out of the room in a very bad mood.

Casey enjoyed a good, hearty laugh at Detective Stabler's exit, and also at the slightly questioning but none-the-less amused look on Olivia's.
"Don't worry, he doesn't actually have to do my errands. When he gets to the first place on that list, I have a friend who's going to tell him to go home and then join us later for dinner. But hey, why not have a little fun with him first, right?"
Casey plopped into her uncomfortable office chair, and began shuffling through the files on the desk until she found the one she was looking for.
"Alright, so now that we know with a degree of certainty that the evidence found in the search will be dismissed, what are we going to do about it? Do we have anything else that we can hold McCulty on?"

A young girl of about ten years old knocked on the door. "Are you the ADA?" She asked. She leaned against the doorway, fiddling with her skirt. She had dressed up special for this. Her sister was furious, and had sent her, because she was busy hacking. Therefore, she was there, in a blue dress with black buttons and a matching black sash and collar. She reached up and twisted a lock of hair around her finger. Her big sister's boyfriend was Tom McCulty and he was in trouble- again.
